Beloved and Honored Retreats was founded in loving memory of my cousin, Deanne Morris, who I lost in 2025, at just 58 years old. The doctor wrote that she died from heart and respiratory distress - but the real cause was decades of carrying the weight of everyone else's needs while her own went unmet. She was strong, faithful, and selfless. But she was also exhausted, alone, and unseen.
I started Beloved and Honored Retreats to honor her legacy and care for women like her - Black Christian women who have mastered the art of serving everyone else but forgotten they too deserve rest, healing, and honor.
We strive to provide an environment that fosters healing, growth, and transformation. Our goal is to help people find spiritual renewal, inner peace and improve their overall well-being.
